Loving Lord,

Sometimes we seem to lose a day, and it is a bit frightening when we can’t remember where the day went to or what happened to the week.

We want you to show us the way caring God.

Loving God,

We give You thanks for Your presence in our lives throughout the week gone by.

We have experienced various emotions because of the respect and love many have for our late Queen, who has been part of how we have lived for such a long time.

We pray for all who mourn loved ones, and those who mourn for what we have lost in this country and in the Commonwealth.

At this time we ask that You uphold us with Your grace and wisdom.

Loving Lord,

Help us to see our world with Your eyes and Your love. In our busy lives it’s hard sometimes to take time to see the beauty around us, not only in places and buildings and nature, but also in people and the things they do and say.

Perhaps we could look more closely and allow ourselves to be surprised by our world and the people we meet.
