Memory Cafe: Are you affected by memory problems or know of someone who is? Why not pop along to Kingcase Church Hall, Wednesday 28 August from 1 pm to 3 pm. The cafe offers an informal environment where you can meet others who may be in a similar situation. Come have a chat with knowledgeable professionals and access information about Dementia. 

Music and Movement: New season commences Monday 26 August, at 9.30 am.

Sunflower Competition: How tall has your Sunflower grown? 

Why not bring along a photo, showing how tall your sunflower has grown with its measurement (in centimetres) by Sunday 1 September. A winner will be announced on Sunday 8 September 2019. All entries will be displayed in Crush area.

Men’s Club: will resume Monday 9 September, 7.30 pm in Ford Hall. New members most welcome. Subscription £10.00, new season syllabus is on display in Crush area within Church.

4 Season Photo Competition/Church Calendar 2020:

Rules – Photos of scenes of Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer and should be landscape and size 150mm x 100mm (6” x 4”). Must be within UK. Can include animals, insects etc but NO human beings. Can be for any year. The entry fee is £1.00 per photo and entry forms are available in the Bell Room. Entrants need not be Men’s Club or Church members. No age restriction or to number of photos. Entries by first fortnight in September for judging by congregation. Best 12 entries as judged, i.e. 3 for each Season, will be included in Church 2020 Calendar for sale November/December 2019. Last month of summer is now here so get snapping.

12th Ayrshire Scout Group (Beavers): are looking for volunteers to help with Beaver Scouts alongside existing Leaders. This is the youngest scout age group of 6/7 year olds, who meet on Friday nights in Kingcase Church from 6 pm until 7.15 pm. The new session starts on Friday 30th August, and we would love to hear from you or anyone you know who may be interested. Please contact Alastair McIntyre (470375) for any further information.

Circle of Care: A meeting has been scheduled for Team Monday 2 September 2019, at 7.30 pm in the Horton Room, when catering and transport will be arranged.

Our Annual Circle of Care service will be held on Sunday 8 September 2019 at 2.30 pm. Tea will be provided after the short service. This is an open invitation to anyone who would like to come along.

Kingcase Guild presents Ayr Community Gospel Choir in Concert on Sunday 8 September 2019 at 7 pm as a celebration for Guild Week.

Finance team: Finance meeting Sunday 1 September, 7.00 pm Horton Room.

Fellowship and Hospitality Team: Dates for your diary 

A fun Beetle Drive on Tuesday 17th September 2019 at 7:30pm, with supper of course. Tickets £5.00, now available.

Annual Harvest Supper will be on Sunday 6th October 2019 after Harvest Praise at 7.00 pm. (Further details on both events later).
