If he is not available to take your call you will be able to leave a message on the answering service. He will get back to you as soon as is practically possible. You could also send an electronic message – his email address is IWiseman@churchofscotland.org.uk – you could also leave a message at the church office during its opening hours requesting the Minister to contact you, and this will be passed on to him.
Fellowship and Hospitality Team: Tuesday 17 September 2019 at 7:30 pm for our Beetle Drive, with supper, all are welcome.
Sunday 6 October 2019, will be our Harvest Praise service 7.00 pm, followed by Harvest Supper.
Bible Study Group: The Bible Study Group meet on a Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm in the Horton Room. Everyone welcome.
Men’s Club: 4 Season Photo Competition/Church Calendar 2020: Rules – Photos of scenes of Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer and should be landscape and size 150mm x 100mm (6” x 4”). Must be within UK. Can include animals, insects etc but NO human beings. Can be for any year. The entry fee is £1.00 per photo and entry forms are available in the Bell Room. Entrants need not be Men’s Club or Church members. No age restriction or to number of photos. Entries by first fortnight in September for judging by congregation. Best 12 entries as judged, i.e. 3 for each Season, will be included in Church 2020 Calendar for sale November/December 2019.
All entries to be in by Sunday 29 September 2019.
Christ in Action Food Bank: This is a heartfelt plea for volunteers who have access to a car.Due to recent retirements on health grounds, we urgently need volunteers to form a delivery team. We have been operating on a 3 week rota. If we get 3 or 4 people with half days or full days to spare on a rota basis we can cover the five and a half days we need. Kingcase present team works with 3 of us communicating our availability for the weeks duty. Harvest Thanksgiving: At our Harvest Thanksgiving services this year we shall be collecting items to be donated to the Christ in Action Foodbank. The following can be brought along to either of the services on Sunday 6 October 2019.
- Cereal, sugar, biscuits, tea bags or coffee.
- Main meals ie tins of mince, chicken, chicken curry, meatballs
- Jars of pasta sauce
- Tins of potatoes, peas, beans, spaghetti, macaroni, soup, tuna, custard, rice, fruit.
- Packages of pasta, rice.
- Toilet rolls, toothpaste, toothbrushes, plastic bags.
